WHY DONATIONS ARE IMPORTANT

Eye in the Sky continues to provide free volunteer-led missing dog search support where possible, alongside nationwide remote guidance, search planning advice, and operational assistance to owners across the UK.
Donations play a vital role in helping us continue providing this free support service and maintaining the specialist equipment and operational capability required to respond safely and effectively to missing dog incidents.
While we now also offer a separate Rapid Response Deployment service for urgent situations requiring immediate operational attendance, we still continue to carry out free volunteer searches and support where availability and operational commitments allow.
Donation funding helps contribute towards:
-
specialist drone equipment
-
thermal imaging systems
-
underwater drone technology
-
batteries and charging systems
-
software and mapping tools
-
vehicle fuel and travel costs
-
maintenance and repairs
-
insurance and licensing
-
safety equipment
-
training and operational development
-
search planning systems
-
volunteer support operations
Maintaining specialist operational equipment is extremely costly, and every search deployment involves ongoing expenses including travel, equipment wear, charging systems, maintenance, software subscriptions, and operational preparation.
Donations also help us continue providing:
-
free volunteer drone support
-
remote guidance and advice
-
search planning assistance
-
owner education
-
lost dog safety information
-
risk awareness resources
-
nationwide incident support
Every contribution, regardless of size, helps us maintain operational readiness and continue supporting owners during some of the most stressful and time-sensitive moments they may experience.
We are incredibly grateful to every person who supports Eye in the Sky through donations, fundraising, sharing our work, or helping raise awareness of missing dog safety and responsible search practices.
