Eye In The Sky Drones - Terms and Conditions

Service Overview

Eye In The Sky Drones provides professional search and rescue services for lost animals, including pets, using advanced thermal imaging technology. Our equipment includes drones and handheld thermal binoculars to assist in locating missing animals efficiently and effectively. We strive to offer pet searches free of charge whenever possible, depending on factors such as distance, time required, type of search (drone or foot), and other logistical considerations. However, we kindly ask for donations through our donations page to support our ongoing efforts. For other types of searches, costs are determined based on these same principles.

Disclaimer

While we make every effort to locate missing animals, Eye In The Sky Drones cannot guarantee success in every search. Various factors, such as environmental conditions, terrain, and other variables beyond our control, may affect the effectiveness of our operations.

These factors include, but are not limited to:

Weather Conditions: If weather conditions are unfavorable, such as heavy rain, high winds, or any other situation that poses a risk to safe drone operation, we reserve the right to cancel or postpone the drone flight. In such cases, we shall conduct a ground search using our high-tech thermal imaging binoculars.
Flight Restrictions: In certain areas, such as national parks or airport flight restriction zones, drone operation may be prohibited by law. If your search area falls within such a restricted zone, we will be unable to fly the drone. In these instances, we will conduct a ground search.
Flight Time: The typical flight time for our drone is approximately 60 minutes per flight. Due to battery constraints and operational limitations, we are limited to this flight duration.

Operational Limitations

Weather and Environmental Conditions: If the drone is unable to fly due to wet conditions, very high winds, or restricted areas, we will switch to a foot search using thermal imaging binoculars. We do not conduct both drone and ground searches simultaneously unless a ground search is initiated and weather conditions subsequently improve to allow for safe drone operation.

Payment and Refund Policy

Payment: Payment for our services must be made either before or upon the arrival of our operators at the search location. We accept various payment methods, which will be communicated to you upon booking our services.
No Refunds: Due to the nature of our services and the costs involved in mobilizing our resources, Eye In The Sky Drones operates a strict no-refund policy. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and accept that there will be no refunds, regardless of the outcome of the search or the factors that may limit our operational capabilities.

Client Responsibilities

Understanding of Limitations: By engaging Eye In The Sky Drones, clients acknowledge that drone flight is subject to environmental and regulatory limitations, and that these limitations may affect the scope of the search.

Liability

Eye In The Sky Drones shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from the failure to locate an animal. Our services are offered on a best-effort basis, and we make no warranties, either express or implied, regarding the success of the search.

Termination of Services

Eye In The Sky Drones reserves the right to terminate services at any time if conditions are deemed unsafe or if the search area falls within a restricted zone where drone operation is prohibited.

Agreement

By hiring Eye In The Sky Drones, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the disclaimer, payment terms, and no-refund policy. You acknowledge that while we will make every effort to assist in the search and rescue of your animal, we cannot guarantee the outcome.
